D2 Shoe Appreciation Day (at least at our household)… The finest things I have ever slipped onto my feet. I cannot wait to use them for more than walking in the carpeted basement. Thanks Don! -g

And just like that…

Road season is upon me. How can I tell? Tonight in an unplanned adventure, the CX bike, and three sets of wheels were stripped of cassettes (11-23, 11-25 and 11-25) and duly sent to the basement for the remainder of the season until September, that is. Cassettes cleaned and one 11-25 found it’s way to […]

Spring…

Friday, February 27th, 2009

Spring classics are on my mind. I haven’t written much lately. I have just been wrangling the family, trying to ride and find some form. But I have to say, for the first time I am pretty excited to race my bike. I haven’t been doing it much in the past few years. Sure a […]

TSS, EPOC and Suunto Training Effect

Wednesday, February 18th, 2009

In the off-season, I have the chance to do some skate skiing, some downhill and other fun activities. I will probably purge a bunch of content/images that I have posted in other forums in an effort to keep the server clean for the forum to run […]

New Years Solo Ride(s)

Friday, January 2nd, 2009

Banged out 1hr yesterday and an hour and a half climbing today. Not bad considering the pea soup we have in the valley. 61TSS for NYD and Pnorm of 199 followed by 93.5TSS today on 209w Pnorm. 2009 is on the books already and so far, batting 1000 for both riding everyday and outside. -g

Happy new year

Wednesday, December 31st, 2008

Well, 2008 will end like most of the rest of the year, me riding inside, on the ct, in the basement, late at night. Heading to a dinner then home and onto the trainer. 2009 will begin in new kit, and outside, as I hope the rest of the year will be similar. Resolutions? I […]

One more piece of the 2009 puzzle…

Monday, December 8th, 2008

REI had ’em in stock, 20% off for online order, added to a gift certificate sitting in my pocket = $30!. Might have to get out and “Chung” it at Sugarhouse park when the weather is nice… -g
